Each sculpture is created from a piece of stone originating from quarries in Ontario, Quebec, Labrador, Italy, Portugal, Vermont, Utah, Brazil and China, just to name a few. Whether it is the soft subtle colour of a well-chosen soapstone or the Luminous beauty of a translucent alabaster, each stone has an appeal of its own. The most popular stone for gift-giving purposes is, by far, the Canadian stone, however the Brazilian stone with its wide variety of colour and character can be the most rewarding.  With colours ranging from blue to green, cream to jade or even caramel brown all in one piece, each finished sculpture is sure to be a surprise. Alabaster brings a touch of class as the harder grade stones allow for greater detail to be achieved, as with serpentine.  Though more time must be spent due to this fact, it is well worth the effort. Throughout the composition of the stone, variations occur naturally making each sculpture totally unique in its character and depth of colour.
